Nyumba Regulated Non-WDT Sacco Society Ltd was formed and registered on 5th January 1978 primarily to promote thrift among Housing Finance (HF) employees by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and thereby creating a source of funds from which loans could be advanced to them.
In the year 2000, the common bond was opened by the amendment of the By-Laws of the society to include Staff from other organizations offering services to Housing Finance. Currently, Nyumba Regulated Non-WDT Sacco Society Ltd is operating a Back Office Savings Activity (BOSA) for HF Group employees as well as, Staff from other organizations offering services to HF Group and their spouses and children who have registered as members of the Sacco.
In 2021 the Sacco became regulated by SASRA and the name changed to Nyumba Regulated Non-WDT Sacco Society Ltd. With this milestone the Sacco is able to attract more members from its target market.
Joining Requirements:
a.) Duly Filled Membership Form.
b.) Copy of ID, PIN, KRA Certificate & Recent Passport Photo.
c.)Details of Next of Kin (s) plus Copy of ID and/or Birth Certificate for minors.
d.)Registration Fee of Kes.1,000.
e.)Minimum Share Capital of Kes.10,000 (100 Shares @ Kes.100).
f.)Minimum Monthly Contribution of Kes.1,500.
